About the Artist

I'm Tim Blackwell — a self-taught artist and photographer living in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to the quiet corners of this landscape: the farmlands, the vineyards, the old barns slowly returning to the earth.

My work is rooted in a deep love for the rural character of the Northwest. I paint and photograph the things that most people drive past without a second glance — a fence line disappearing into fog, the way light pools in a meadow at dawn, the textures of wood and rust and time.

I didn't come to art through any extensive formal training. What I know, I learned from years of watching — watching the way seasons move through the valley, the way a coastal fog changes everything it touches, the way certain light can make the most humble barn feel like a cathedral.

My faith plays a quiet but essential role in my creative life. I see my work as an act of gratitude — a way of acknowledging the beauty that's been placed in front of me and doing my best to share it with others.
