Cafe 22
The nostalgic “Cafe 22” brings a smile to its loyal local patrons and curious passerby’s who are heading towards the coast from the Salem area. It’s modest neon sign flashes alongside this collection of weathered tin message boards. The rust and wear and occasional bullet holes seem to confirm their authenticity, enhancing their simple charm and well-earned character. It has been my personal experience that meals enjoyed here inevitably lead to an exchange of stories of simpler times and of relatives and friends fondly remembered and to a large side-order of smiles to go.
